A journey filled with surprises.
This is the first purchase I have ever made from Prism+, though not my first consideration when making a decision to buy. Prism+ as a company has had a rough few years back when it started. From dead pixels to bad customer service, backed up by all the bad reviews they received 2-3 years ago. This made me question my decision to buy from them. Then again, I am one to take risk.
I decided to buy the X490 Pro. It was 4am: I work in the US working hours so that's why I was up. The page says it'll arrive by Friday. It was a Tuesday.
Fast forward the same day, I received a text saying that it's prepped and will make a delivery within 24-48 hours. Sounds too good to be true, so I waited. The next day I received another text asking me to confirm their delivery time today. To my surprise, that was quick. The package arrived around 2pm and I was impressed.
Unfortunately, upon turning on the monitor, there was a bad crack on the right side of the monitor. I started a chat with their customer service through their website and addressed the issue. The person on the other side was responsive and in the end he said that he will pass the information to the respective teams.
As someone who has been buying and RMA-ing stuff online, when someone say something like "send the issue to our respective team" . I know I will be forgotten for months. Oh well, I thought.
Shockingly enough, I got a response via email the next day that they agree to give me a 1 on 1 replacement. Wow, I was happy. So they said in their email that they will arrange a delivery within the next few days.
The delivery took place the next day.... That...was....quick. It made me rush to repackage the faulty unit i had to pass to the courier.
The replacement unit arrived, I set it up and it looks great. No dead pixel whatsoever. I am happy. Now I can multitask work easily.
I took my chance when I ordered from Prism+. Judging by their cringy advertisements on social media and bad reviews in Reddit, lowyat and all the tech forums, I never expected to be served with excellent customer service. You truly have improved Prism+ and I hope you keep continuing keeping your customers happy. As for me, you are on my good side. I won't hesitate to recommend your products to anyone.
